EnergyDeck was created to address several key issues regarding environmental sustainability in organisations:
Tracking, analysis and reporting of energy and resource consumption is still mostly based on spreadsheets, leading to operational inefficiencies and missed opportunities.
There are no publicly accessible databases of savings measures with detailed performance data for different types of buildings and use cases. Analysing large amounts of data (especially including smart meter readings) is a tedious and complex task even for experts, but powerful tracking and analytics tools often come with high price tags
Approach
With EnergyDeck we aim to address these challenges. Our ultimate goal is to help scale energy and resource efficiency to a mass market.
We intend to achieve this by giving users access to:
A free version that allows anyone to sign up and start using the platform immediately
A powerful platform that enables users to identify inefficiencies and savings potential
The collective intelligence of our users to provide relevant benchmarks and savings projectsThis is however just the beginning! We have several innovative features on our roadmap that are designed to further increase the utility and scale of the EnergyDeck platform.
Implementation
EnergyDeck is based on the latest open-source Web 2.0 technologies. It is expertly put together by our superstar developers, with input from industry experts and, of course, our users! We keep adding new features regularly and often deploy them on a weekly basis.
